Were you a National Serviceman?

As your State Member, along with the National Servicemen’s Association of Australia, we are endeavouring to contact all males who are currently living in the State Electorate of Davenport, who were born between November 1933 and December 1939 – and between 1945 and 1952 who have not claimed their medals.

Have you claimed you Anniversary of National Service Medal and the Australian Defence Medal?

If not, please contact the National Servicemen’s Association in your area, listed below who will assist in claiming what is rightfully yours. All National Servicemen may be entitled to receive these medals whether you served overseas or only in .

Your family I am sure would be most proud to have these medals in their possession.

I also wish to bring to your attention, for those who served their National Service commitment between 1951 and 1959 in the Navy, Army and Air Force and in the Army between 1965 and 1972 (either regular Army or CMF), that a National Servicemen’s Memorial will be dedicated on 8th September 2010.

The Memorial has already been constructed and sits in the immediate surrounds of the Australian War Memorial in Canberra and has been critically claimed as magnificent.

I and the members of the National Servicemen’s Association of Australia take this opportunity to encourage ex-National Servicemen to participate in this historic occasion and to also, very importantly, help you claim your medals.

Should you wish to claim your medals please telephone the SA State Branch of the National Servicemen's Association on 8293 6344 (office hours are Fridays only from 8:30am to 2:00pm) or write to The Secretary, NSAA SA Inc, GPO Box 388, Adelaide SA 5001.
